This page describes security boundaries and reporting for Namaz Vakti, provided by Ahmet Yasir Demir operating as Ghaith Labs. The Privacy Policy explains processing; the Terms of Use describe the service’s scope.

1. Protecting device records
Personal worship records and preferences are stored locally and are not synced to an app account server. Protection relies on iOS app isolation and device security. We do not claim a separate app password vault or custom encryption layer for these records.
Use a device passcode, keep the operating system and app updated and review who can access your device. Someone able to unlock it may see app records or exported files. Removing device security protections can weaken these boundaries.
2. Online connections and providers
Prayer-time and Quran requests use HTTPS. This helps protect information in transit but does not prevent the recipient from processing it or establish end-to-end confidentiality. AlAdhan, content providers and advertising services may process requests they receive as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your name and personal worship records are not added to ad requests. Advertising services’ own diagnostics and measurement are separate. We do not claim an independent audit, ISO/SOC certification, zero data loss or uninterrupted service for the app or its providers.
3. Backups, clipboard and shared copies
Backup files can contain readable worship records and are not separately encrypted by the app. Store them only in trusted locations. Information sent to messages, email, cloud folders or the clipboard is subject to the access controls of the services and devices you choose.
Import checks supported formats and limits, but does not establish a file’s trustworthiness or guarantee record recovery. Do not use backups from an unknown source. Keep a copy of your existing records before restoring.
Manage copies in widgets, watches, Photos and device backups separately. Deleting the app does not automatically erase every exported copy or provider-side record.
4. Permissions and controls
Manage location, notification and Photos permissions in iOS Settings. Manual location selection is available instead of GPS. The advertising privacy form is available in the app’s settings where the provider offers it for your region. Revocation affects subsequent use; it does not recall information already transmitted.
Review app sharing settings if you do not want to share with widgets or your watch. Verify a recipient before entering passwords, identity documents or payment information in an advertisement or external page.
5. Reporting a security issue
Privately email the contact above with the subject “Namaz Vakti — Security” for a suspected vulnerability or unintended disclosure. Include the app/iOS versions, reproduction steps and the minimum evidence needed. Do not send keys, passwords, complete backups or unnecessary personal records.
Do not access another person’s records, disrupt services or publish personal information while investigating. We assess reports, request clarification where necessary and plan appropriate fixes. This page does not establish a paid bug bounty, unrestricted testing authorisation or a guaranteed response time. If an incident triggers legal notification duties, we act under applicable rules.
