Pactly Privacy Policy

Pactly is operated by Ghaith Labs (“Pactly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Pactly mobile and web app (the “App”), who can see it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password. We receive your email address, a display name, and, if your sign-in provider shares one, a profile photo. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us.

1.2 Pacts and Activity

  • Pacts you create or join, including the group name, goal, and check-in rhythm;
  • Your check-ins and any short note you add to them;
  • Cheers and private encouragement messages you send or receive;
  • Invitations you send, accept, or decline.

1.3 Device and Settings Information

  • Your device time zone, used to place check-ins on the right day and respect quiet hours;
  • Push notification tokens, if you allow notifications;
  • Notification preferences such as cheers, gentle nudges, and quiet hours.

We do not access your contacts, location, photo library, camera, or microphone, and we do not show ads.

2. How We Use Information

  • Create and secure your account;
  • Run your pacts, show group progress, and deliver invitations;
  • Send the notifications you have turned on, such as cheers, gentle nudges, and weekly recaps;
  • Keep the App working, secure, and free of abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who Can See Your Information

Members of a pact you belong to can see your display name, profile photo, check-ins, and notes within that pact. Private encouragement messages are visible only to their sender and recipient. Your email address and settings are visible only to you.

Pact organizers do not get access to any information that other members cannot see.

4. Service Providers

Google Firebase

Provides authentication, database, cloud functions, hosting, and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Apple and Google Sign-In

Verify your identity when you choose them, under their own privacy terms.

Apple and Google Play

Distribute the App and may process download and device information under their own privacy terms.

5. Children's Privacy

Pactly is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us at dydemiryasir@gmail.com and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the App under Profile → Privacy & Account. This removes your profile, your memberships, and your activity, and deletes your sign-in account. If you organize a pact that has other members, the organizer role passes to another member so the pact can continue.

Unused push tokens are removed automatically. Limited backups and logs may persist for a short period before they expire.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact dydemiryasir@gmail.com.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited by security rules to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy when the App or our providers change. The updated policy will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date.
