Pikoza Security Information
Pikoza is a casual match-3 puzzle game operated by Ghaith Labs. We designed Pikoza with a privacy-first, client-centric architecture. Because we minimize the collection and transmission of data, player security is built directly into the game's design.
For general studio-wide security practices, please refer to the Ghaith Labs Security Practices overview.
1. Zero-Account & On-Device Architecture
Pikoza requires no account registration, login, or personal profile:
- No Identity Information: We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
- Local Storage Only: Your puzzle progress, completed levels, collected stars, scores, in-game rewards, and sound/language preferences remain stored exclusively on your local device.
- No Centralized Gameplay Database: Ghaith Labs does not maintain a remote database of player gameplay, eliminating common risks associated with centralized data breaches.
2. Device Permissions & Sandboxing
- Minimal Permissions: Pikoza does not request access to your device camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or location.
- Operating System Sandboxing: The game executes within standard operating system sandboxing boundaries enforced by iOS and Android, preventing unauthorized access to external device storage or sensitive system resources.
3. Advertising & Third-Party Services
Pikoza is supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob:
- Consent Framework: Where required by applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR in the EEA and UK), we present Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent dialog. On iOS, personalized tracking requires explicit opt-in via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
- Non-Personalized Defaults: If you decline consent, or if an age check indicates a player under 13, only non-personalized advertisements are displayed.
- Optional Rewarded Ads: All rewarded ads are voluntary; players can complete the game without watching advertisements.
4. Data Deletion & Retention
Because gameplay progress is saved locally, uninstalling or deleting Pikoza from your device immediately and completely erases all local game data, levels, and settings without leaving lingering records on our servers.
