Help with PodTalk creation allowances, AI permission, subscriptions, content reports, feedback and account deletion.
1. Contact and in-app feedback
For an improvement suggestion or an app problem, open Settings → Send feedback. Choose a message type and describe the issue in 5–2000 characters. The form records the message with your app account identifier, app version, platform and language; it does not send an email or collect a reply address automatically.
For a reply by email, a privacy/security request, account access problems or an issue after deleting your account, contact dydemiryasir@gmail.com. Include your app version, account identifier if available, the approximate time and a concise description. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive documents. We do not publish a guaranteed response time.
2. Creation allowances and failed requests
A free account has one short creation in total. An eligible free trial has four creations in total during trial access. Paid access includes 10 creations per UTC calendar week; it is not unlimited. Topic episodes, material episodes and stories share the allowance for that access tier. Paid weeks begin Monday at 00:00 UTC, rather than seven days after purchase.
A failed request before script delivery releases its reservation. Once the script has been delivered, an optional image or notification failure does not restore the creation. Deleting an episode does not replenish the allowance. If a balance appears incorrect, include the approximate request time and whether a script reached your library.
3. AI permission and generation problems
For camera scanning, selected photos/files, video saving and notifications, see why PodTalk requests each permission. Change available device permissions in your device’s app settings. Camera access is used for document scanning; gallery saving is used for video export. Notification permission is optional and is not required to generate an episode. Device access and AI data-sharing permission are separate choices.
In the updated app, tap Create or turn on Settings → AI data sharing, then select “Allow and continue” after reading the same AI disclosure. The switch stays off until permission is saved; closing the disclosure leaves it off. A saved grant works from both entry points. Other AI features can direct you to Create or Settings but do not open another permission request. Turn the switch off to withdraw permission; requests already sent can still finish.
Generation and uncached speech need an internet connection. Check the source format, voice selection and allowance, and update the app before retrying. If source fidelity matters, compare the output with the original: an AI episode is a new explanation and can omit details or contain mistakes.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
Review the store offer for the price, billing period and trial eligibility. Manage or cancel App Store subscriptions at Apple subscriptions. Deleting the app or its account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Use Restore purchases in the app where applicable. For an App Store refund request, use Apple Report a Problem.
5. Account deletion and access
In the updated app, open Settings → Delete my account and confirm. The app signs out and queues cleanup, normally completing about 15–30 minutes after the request. Temporary failures are retried, so this is not a fixed deadline. If the request remains unresolved after 24 hours, or you cannot access the app, email dydemiryasir@gmail.com. Provide the account identifier if you have it; we may need to establish account ownership.
The Privacy Policy explains cached files, provider records and exported copies. Anonymous accounts are linked to a Firebase identity rather than a password-based login; recovery of account history is not guaranteed after authentication or device data is lost.
6. Content concerns and moderation
Use an episode’s options menu or a user’s profile to report them. Email dydemiryasir@gmail.com for a comment, urgent safety issue, rights complaint, security concern or review of an account restriction. Include enough information to identify the issue without further distributing harmful material. See the Community Guidelines and Security and Safety page for reporting details.
