PodTalk Terms of Use

1. The service and this agreement

These terms govern your use of PodTalk, published and operated by Ahmet Yasir Demir under the Ghaith Labs brand. They apply together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service. For an App Store download, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

PodTalk generates a new script and synthetic speech from a topic, story idea or submitted material. It is not a verbatim reading, verified transcription service or guarantee that every point in a source will be preserved.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be able to enter a valid agreement and meet the eligibility requirements of the services used. AI features are intended for adults aged 18 or over in line with the current Gemini API client restrictions. A store content-age rating does not override provider eligibility rules. Baby/child story options describe the intended audience of an output and do not verify the person making a request.

The app creates an anonymous Firebase account automatically. This identifier connects your profile, library, usage and entitlements; an email or password is not required. Keep your device secure. An anonymous account is not the same as anonymous processing, and access to its history is not guaranteed after loss of the device, app data or authentication session.

3. AI processing permission

Camera scanning, photo selection, file import, notifications and saving a generated video each serve the specific feature described in the Privacy Policy’s permissions section. Refusing optional device access limits the associated feature. Granting device access does not grant AI data-sharing permission, publish material or authorise a purchase.

In the updated app, selecting Create or turning on Settings → AI data sharing presents the same disclosure when permission has not been granted. Choose “Allow and continue” to permit the described processing; closing the disclosure leaves the Settings switch off. Permission is remembered on that device and can be withdrawn by turning the switch off. Without it, the updated app does not start new AI requests. Other features can direct you to Create or Settings to grant permission without opening another permission dialog.

Gemini creates scripts and quizzes; ElevenLabs or Inworld creates speech; Kie.ai handles cover-image prompts. Submitted requests can finish after permission is withdrawn. The Privacy Policy explains recipients, data categories and deletion limitations.

4. Creation allowances

• Free account: one short creation in total for the account. This is not a daily or weekly allowance.
• Eligible free trial: four creations in total during trial access. The trial allowance does not renew when a calendar week changes. Store eligibility and the trial duration shown at purchase apply.
• Paid subscription: 10 creations per UTC calendar week. Paid access is not unlimited generation. The weekly allowance applies to eligible paid plans, including an annual plan, rather than being an extra allowance for each content type.

Topic episodes, material-based episodes and stories use the same allowance for your access tier. Paid counters follow a UTC calendar week beginning Monday at 00:00 UTC, rather than a rolling seven-day period from the purchase date. Unused weekly capacity is not added to the next week. Review the current allowance and store offer before purchasing.

A request reserves capacity while it is processed. A failure before delivery of the script releases that reservation. A delivered script counts as a creation even if an optional cover image or notification fails. Deleting an episode does not restore a used creation. Subscription verification or service failures can temporarily prevent new requests.

5. Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Prices, billing period, any introductory offer and trial duration are displayed by the store purchase flow. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue unless cancelled under the store’s terms. Manage App Store subscriptions in your device’s Apple Account subscription settings or at Apple subscriptions. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access until the end of the current entitlement period shown by the store.

Deleting PodTalk or deleting its account does not cancel billing. Use the app’s restore-purchases option where applicable. Apple handles App Store refund requests through Report a Problem; eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law. We do not promise automatic refunds or that a particular trial will be available to every user.

6. Your material and generated content

You retain rights you already hold in submitted material. You permit the processing, storage, conversion and delivery needed to provide the features you request, including the disclosed AI processing. Sharing or publishing an output also requires the rights and permissions necessary for its source material and for information about other people.

We do not guarantee that an AI output is unique, copyrightable, legally clear for commercial use or free of third-party rights. Review outputs before relying on, distributing or selling them. Do not upload confidential, copyrighted or personal material you are not authorised to share, and do not use the app to impersonate someone or imply an endorsement that does not exist.

7. Public content and misuse

Follow the Community Guidelines. Public-feed publication is controlled by moderation privileges in the current app; generating a private episode is not permission to publish any material you choose. Reports, block records and feedback can be used to investigate misuse. Administrative action can suspend an account, stop generation and commenting, remove public content or restrict access.

Do not create sexual exploitation material, threats, hate or harassment, nonconsensual intimate content, doxxing, scams, harmful instructions or unlawful material. Do not bypass usage limits, account restrictions or provider safety controls.

8. Accuracy and service limitations

AI can invent facts, omit source details, mispronounce words and produce unsuitable results. Return to the original source for exact wording, references and completeness. PodTalk does not provide medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice. Check important information independently and do not rely on generated content for emergencies or safety-critical decisions.

Creation and uncached speech require an internet connection and depend on third-party services. Availability, voices and supported features can change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or any particular output, and we will not describe an allowance as unlimited when limits apply.

9. Ending use and deleting your account

You can stop using PodTalk at any time. In the updated app, request account deletion from Settings → Delete my account. This signs you out and queues background cleanup; it does not cancel a store subscription. The Privacy Policy explains the expected processing time and the limits of deleting cached, exported or provider-held information. 10. Responsibility, consumer rights and changes

You are responsible for lawful use of the material you submit and the outputs you choose to share. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is supplied as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or a particular AI result. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer, cancellation, refund or data-protection rights.

Nothing in these terms prevents you from using the dispute-resolution or court processes available under applicable mandatory law. We identify revisions by the date above; where a change requires notice or renewed permission, the applicable notice or permission must be provided.
