Save It is operated by Ghaith Labs (“Save It,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Save It iOS app and its Share Extension (together, the “App”) handle, where it goes, and the choices you have.
In short: there is no account to create. Your library is stored on your iPhone. To file a save into the right Space, the App sends that save's link, title, and text, plus the names of your Spaces, to our organizing service. We do not keep that content on our servers, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
When you share something to Save It, the App stores the following on your device:
The Share Extension writes each save to a private area shared only with the Save It app on the same device. The App imports it from there and removes it after import. Save It learns where you keep saves from a given site from your own moves; that learning happens on your device and is never sent to us.
To choose a Space, the App sends the save's link, title, and text (including a short page description when one is found), together with the names of your Spaces, to our Cloud Function hosted on Google Firebase in the European Union. The function forwards this content to our classification provider, TypeSafe (Jev), which returns the kind of item, a likely intent, and the best Space. If this does not work, the save stays in your Inbox.
For links that arrive without a title or description, our server may request the public web page once to read its title, description, and preview image. It sends no cookies or sign-in details, blocks private network addresses, and returns only those fields to your device. Google search links are titled from the search words without loading the results page.
When you create a Space, its name is sent through the same service to pick a fitting icon.
Those websites and services receive your device's IP address and the request, as with any web visit.
Our servers do not store your links, titles, text, or Spaces after answering a request. Service logs record an anonymous app ID, timing, and the filing decision (such as item type, suggested Space ID, and confidence), never the shared content itself.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use it to build a profile of you. We do not access your contacts, location, photo library, camera, or microphone. The App only sees images that you include in a share.
Provides anonymous authentication, App Check, cloud functions, and the database that holds request counters. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Receives the content described in section 2.1 and the Space names in section 2.3 so it can return a filing decision. We send only what is needed for that decision.
Provides titles and thumbnails for YouTube links you save, under Google's privacy policy.
Distributes the App, provides the share sheet, link previews, and App Attest, and may process download and device information under its own privacy terms.
Your library stays on your device until you remove it. You can delete a single save from its detail screen, or everything at once in Settings → Delete all local data. Deleting the App also removes its data from your device.
Save It has no cloud backup or sync. If you lose or reset your device, your library cannot be recovered by us.
Request counters expire automatically. Service logs are kept for a limited period, typically up to 30 days. To ask us to delete anything tied to your anonymous ID, contact us.
Save It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us at dydemiryasir@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, object to processing, and complain to a data-protection authority. Most of your data is on your device and under your control. For anything else, contact dydemiryasir@gmail.com.
Requests to our service are encrypted in transit and accepted only from the genuine App. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy when the App or our providers change. The updated policy will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date.
